Competitions for Selecting Personnel for the Institutions of the European Union

Anyone interested in filling one of the highly coveted employment positions in the institutions of the EU is required to undergo a demanding, multi-level selection process in which several hundred applicants often compete for a few posts.

Understandably, the EU member countries are interested in having as many of their own citizens as possible employed in the European institutions, and they therefore offer preparatory training in order to increase the applicant's chances within the selection procedure.

On behalf of the German Foreign Office and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, ITB consultants conduct prep training courses teaching strategies for the processing of the multiple-choice tests – which constitute the highly selective first level of the selection procedure. Along with preparation for the remaining levels of the procedure, these courses have contributed to a considerable increase in the proportion of successful German applicants.
