With ITB-LEAS you can support the individual career planning of your employees. The self-assessment provides information about leadership skills and leadership orientation as well as strengths and learning areas in the field of leadership. In other words: with ITB-LEAS, your employees find out whether they can and want to lead people.

Personnel development: Recognising leaders

The leadership assessment consists of two parts. The first part measures interest in a leadership career or a specialist career, i.e. leadership orientation. For this purpose, two activities are compared – a management task and a technical exercise. The person taking the assessment decides in favour of the alternative that appeals to them more.

The second part consists of a situational judgement test. This measures three core competences of a leader:

Leadership
Management
strategic thinking.

Typical everyday management scenarios are presented with four equally attractive but differently appropriate options for action. The person chooses the option that comes closest to their behaviour in such a situation. After completing the exercise, participants receive detailed feedback with pointers for personal development.
ITB-LEAS is therefore ideal for use in personnel development, especially when employees are to take on their first management position.
